As of today, January 22, 2022, the Democrats are in serious trouble as a political party. It is unheard of for a president to have an approval rating well below 40%, as the current President Brandon has.
28 of the Democrats in the US House are not running for re-election.
The Democrats lost Virginia, in both the statewide and House of Delegates in November. The Democrats control the State Senate by 1 seat and the next State Senate election is in 2023.
They should have lost New Jersey, but well, remember Stalin’s point: he who counts the votes… It was nice to see newly elected Senator Durr in New Jersey. He defeated the Democrat State Senate President while spending beer money on his campaign. Oh how this must hurt. How dare a truck driver run against the most powerful Democrat in the New Jersey Senate!
Defeated Senator Sweeney made comments after he was declared the loser that 12,000 votes were “not counted”. He then backed off. The Democrats have claimed this “we have uncounted votes” for decades.
We can very clearly see the Democrats are losing in the public arena.
Does this mean that the people are actually choosing the Republicans? Absolutely not.
This point is very important. The Democrats are losing, but the Republicans are not winning. Americans are rejecting what the Democrats are offering. They are not eagerly lining up behind what the Republicans are offering, which is not much.
House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy has made some “commitments” if the Republicans were to win the House back. The first one is to remove 3 Democrats from committee seats. Yawn.
McCarthy, like most Republican hacks, is silent on the things that actually matter. Republicans when in power have never balanced the federal budget and have never secured the borders (largely because they are owned by the globalists and open borders Chamber of Commerce). Only a handful have been against vaccine mandates and vaccine passports, and stood up to the unconstitutional detention of January 6th accused (many whom have been held longer than any potential sentence for what they have been accused of).
Where are Republicans on voter integrity? In Wisconsin, 119,283 active voters who have been registered for over 100 years. Wisconsin Judge Bans Ballot Drop Boxes, Says Election Officials Broke The Law. No one can claim that Wisconsin had a proper election. The answer is: the Republican Swamp wanted Trump gone.
Democrats are netting House seats after redistricting due to blue states eliminating Republican seats.
Then we have Republicans being asleep at the wheel again. Populist Swing State Voters Become Key Target for Democrats in 2022 Midterms. Republicans are leaving the door open for Democrats to walk back in.
Not being the Democrats is what Republicans have specialized at for the last 20 years. Their motto is: do enough to get into power and control the process and money.
For the last 20 years, we have seen control shift from Republicans controlling the Presidency and Congress to the Democrats controlling both, and back again, along with a few split governments along the way.
I stated previously that “Republicans, despite all the voting integrity issues, will win the US House back in 2022. I expect them to also win the majority in the US Senate.” I no longer believe this.
Republicans winning Congress is nowhere near enough to address our problems. Hayden Daniel’s article sums this up very well.
The people who run the Republican Party nationally and in your state and county level have one interest: being in power and controlling the purse strings.
They however have no desire to actually deliver on promises. They will say enough to win and when it comes time to deliver, they do and will not.
There is so much money in politics. There are high paying jobs: in government, in elected office, campaign consulting, lobbying, and the like. The Republican insiders want to get their piece of the pie. They get it by being in charge.
The problem they have is the Republican base.
There are two philosophies in the Republican Party.
First is Republicism. This is the notion that we are a Constitutional Republic and have a Constitution and Bill of Rights to follow. People who support Republicism are principle based. They support concepts such as freedom of religion, freedom of speech, the 2nd Amendment, due process, free enterprise, and the rule of law.
Second is Republicanism. These are people who put the Republican Party first over any set of principles. These are the people who become involved for their paychecks. They tell us always to vote Republican and have no actual principles.
The problem with Republicanism is the people in the party who subscribe to it actively work against the interests of the voters who put them in office. They have no desire to actually deliver on basic Republican Party principles like reducing the size and scope of government, repealing bad laws passed by Democrats when the Democrats have power, or actually solving any of the problems of the day.
One of the first things I learned after getting involved in the Republican Party is that electing Republicans will not accomplish what the Republican Party stands for. These Republicanism types will do anything and everything they can to destroy anyone who wants to actually elected Republicans who do something. See what these types did to Donald Trump.
This is one of the hardest lessons to learn in getting involved in politics. It is also one of the reasons why it is a complete waste of time working within the Republican Party. The party itself is a waste of time to work to control. All that counts is the correct candidates winning nominations and winning elections.
The first step to restoring the United States is getting the modern Democrat Party out of power.
The second step is ridding the Republican Party of Republicanism. This part is a lot of hard work and learning how the process actually works. This requires running for office as Republicans and winning nominations and elections.
